Multi Safety Support System
About
M3S specializes in the development of breathing apparatus. The company, located in the Var County (France), was founded by Bertrand HEMARD and Alexandre FOX in 2012. They are passionate about scuba diving and cave diving.

Our underwater experiences and passion for diving led us to embark on this insane challenge of reinventing the diving rebreather. M3S has managed to innovate, develop and manufacture the TRITON, a mechanical chesmounted rebreather intended for all recreational and technical divers.​
​The TRITON is the smallest and lightest rebreather on the market, as well as the easiest to breathe.
The TRITON has extended beyond recreational and technical diving due to its acquired expertise, and is now being used in professional and military environments.
We advocate the « Made in France » which has led us to partner and collaborate with several French companies specializing in their respective fields.
M3S continues the development of rebreathers with a ventral and dorsal machine entirely dedicated to the armed forces, the TBO and the NEPTUN, an aCCR rebreather which adapts to the needs of the diver.

2011
Creation of the TRITON concept
Alexandre FOX and Bertrand HEMARD develop the first drafts of the TRITON.
The key word, simplicity.
Studies begin to obtain a product that complies with the recycler standard.
2012
Creation of the company M3S
The TRITON recycler takes shape, Alexandre FOX and Bertrand HEMARD create the company M3S.
The will is Made in France. They are therefore mainly looking for French companies as suppliers.
2015
CE for the TRITON
Obtaining CE approval to standard EN 14143: 2013 according to directive 89/686/EEC with flying colours.
2016
Development of the Asian market
Training of professional instructors.
Opening of a distribution channel for Asian countries.
2017
Development of the Australian market
Training of professional instructors.
Opening of a distribution channel for Australia.
2018
Thai Rescue
The TRITON was a key diving device in the discovery of the 13 boys from the football team trapped in the Thuam Lang cave, accumulating 10 hours of diving per day.
2018
Creation of the TBO
Following the relief in Thailand, requests from military personnel and nations for the development of the military rebreather, M3S released the first version of the TBO.
2021
Recrutement par le CUISS
Development program for equipment and its communicating information system for underwater interventions.
M3S is the sole manufacturer and expert selected for the development of the military rebreather.
2024
M3S logo
Change of the company logo.
We are using the well-known M3S recycler character on the company logo.
2024
New Computer Generation - NGC
Since 2019, we have been developing our electronics. First available as a PpO2 display, then as a computer. It puts the finishing touches on the development of a TRITON.
2025
Creation of NEPTUN
​Newly born at M3S, an electronic ventral rebreather thanks to the eGB module and piloted by the NGC via an optical fiber.
The NEPTUN is the first aCCR rebreather for adaptive Closed Circuit Rebreather.
